Established in 2007, the Indian Peaks Alers are a vibrant community of brewing enthusiasts who enjoy producing, discussing, and consuming all things fermented. With a diverse membership, our club boasts a rich tapestry of experience and expertise in the art of homebrewing.

Our members have honed their skills and garnered recognition far and wide, with numerous accolades in homebrew competitions nationwide. Some have even been selected to collaborate with professional brewers through the AHA’s & GABF’s ProAm program. Notably, several of our talented brewers have turned their passion into successful ventures, opening breweries like Atom Brewing, Echo Brewing, and the St. Vrain Cidery!

At the heart of our club is the spirit of camaraderie and continuous improvement. This ethos is reflected in our annual flagship event, the Peak-to-Peak ProAm competition held every March. Designed to support homebrewers in their quest for excellence, the competition welcomes all beer styles. Teaming up with around five local breweries for the ProAm selection, many of whom submit to the Great American Beer Festival, we strive to elevate the craft and celebrate the creativity of our brewing community.

Join our brewing community! Our monthly meetings are perfect for connecting with fellow enthusiasts and delving deeper into the brewing world. Held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM MT, our gatherings are filled with lively discussions, educational sessions, and, of course, plenty of delicious brews to sample. We embark on exciting field trips to local hotspots, adding a dash of adventure to our brewing calendar.
