🍻 Join Us for Big Brew Day! 🍻

Get ready to brew up some fun because Big Brew Day is almost here! 🎉 Join the Indian Peaks Alers on Saturday, May 4th, for a day filled with brewing, camaraderie, and friendly competition. 🏆

Details:
📅 Date: Saturday, May 4th
🕣 Time: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Location: Wayne Stark’s Shop

What to Expect:
🔥 Set-up and water prep from 8:30 AM
🍳 Light breakfast snacks provided
🥪 Bring a snack or side to share for lunch
🧹 Tear down and clean-up around 3:00 PM

Inter-Club Competition: We’ll also be participating in a national Inter-Club competition hosted by the Weiz Guys Brew Club. Get ready to brew one of the AHA’s recipes and show off your skills!

2023 Annual Picnic

🌞 Our favorite event of the year is almost here! Save the date for our Annual Summer Picnic on Saturday, Aug 5th. 🍻

🧺🌳 We’ll be gathering for a fun-filled day of camaraderie 🤝, homebrew 🍺 sharing, and delicious food 😋. Please check your email or join our Slack group to sign up to ensure we have enough protein for everyone. 🍗🥑

🎉 This year, we’re excited to extend the invitation to our friends from Hop, Barley, and Alers, our neighboring homebrew club. It’ll be a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow brewing enthusiasts and expand our brewing community. 🍻

2022 Big Brew Day

It’s back! We are excited to bring back our annual Big Brew Day event in honor of National Homebrew Day.

We’ll be at a club member’s private business, members will be notified via Slack and email. Non-members, please reach out via Facebook, Instagram, or email for more details. If you are planning to attend, please make sure to sign-up (via one of the above methods).

We’ll get started a little before 9a. Breakfast will be served at 9a, Global Toast at 11a, Lunch at 1p (we’ll supply the main dish, you supply the rest), and wrap-up by 4p. Bring everything you need including hoses and extension cords, electricity and water will be available.

Pub Nights!

In 2020, we are starting up a new monthly meet-up called Pub Night. Each month (approx 4th Thursday of the month) we will be headed out to a local brewery for some social time to get to know members (and their friends/family) and try out, for the first or 100th time, a local brewery.

If you aren’t a member and want to check us out, please head on over and say hello!

2018 Big Brew Day

Grossenbart Brewery

In conjunction with the American Homebrewers Association the Indian Peaks Alers will be holding our annual Big Brew Day event at Grossenbart Brewery.  Come see and interact with wild homebrewers in their native environment!

At noon Central time, thousands of homebrewers and beer lovers around the world will raise their glasses for a toast to homebrewing and the homebrewers that craft outstanding homemade beer, mead and wine. AHA founder Charlie Papazian selected this year’s official recipes, Rocky Raccoon’s Honey Lager and Dusty Mud Irish Stout. These recipes are in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the AHA and were among the first recipes published by Papazian.
